TTouch Workshop Update

TTOUCH WORKSHOP UPDATE

Since we first planned this workshop world events have been turning almost daily causing uncertainty for everyone. Carmel has been in contact with Andy Robertson regarding the Coronavirus issue and travel restrictions in Australia. At this stage, interstate flights are still happening and Andy is very much looking forward to coming over for the TTouch workshop in May.

Due to the small number of participant places available (maximum of 12 people) and our expansive and private outdoor venue, restrictions placed on larger gatherings do not apply. Due to the nature of the event,  participants will be able to maintain social distancing protocols easily. Appropriate hygiene measures are available to you during the workshop as the venue has a large hall with toilet and kitchen facilities.

Active Pet Rehabilitation will remain up to date on the current protocols advised by the W.A. Health Department and endeavour to adhere to the most up to date W.H.O advice. We will remain up to date on the current requirements and will implement these procedures to ensure that the highest possible hygiene and infection control standards are maintained throughout the event.

If you have already registered and the situation changes, we will contact you immediately to inform you. Should we need to postpone the workshop to a later date you will be given the option of an early bird ticket for the next event or a refund.

If you are interested in the workshop but have yet to register, please let us know what your concerns are so we can help resolve them for you.

AUTUMN NEWSLETTER

I am writing this newsletter with a super moon on the rise and the Autumn equinox fast approaching. With the post Christmas doldrums behind us, the slight cooling in daytime temperatures has brought some of our fur babies back to joy and enthusiastic play. This is a great time to get out and enjoy the temperate sunshine with them before the evenings start to close in again and the temperatures drop in earnest. Before we get stuck into telling you all about the wonderful things we have planned over this Autumn we would love you to…

At Active Pet Rehabilitation, we are looking back with love at all the wonderful pets we have met and the amazing vets and nurses who have referred them to us. With our second practice firmly established we are moving forward with confidence this year.

Last year we compiled a video for the 2019 Flight Centre Business Travel Grant. We didn't win the grant, but because we truly believe in helping more WA pet professionals and owners access world class therapies in rehabilitation and beyond, we decided to start bringing this knowledge to Perth anyway.
So local people can have access to wealth of knowledge we are bringing our first educator over in May to run a workshop in Tellington T-touch techniques…

Meowy Christmas

Looking back over the year

As I sit in our Willetton treatment room surrounded by christmas decorations, waiting for the treadmill to fill with clean water I am reflecting on how far we have come in the 12 months since we opened our doors here.

Once again I am feeling blesses, meeting all our wonderful new furry family friends and their parents, and growing our team-ily* with four fantastic ladies who all share my hopes of improving life for our patients and do their best to make sure, in the words of Mother Teresa, that no one ever comes to us without leaving happier.

You can see some of the fun we have had on our Facebook or Instagram pages….
